Already in ancient times the Greeks and later the Romans knew the use of cement. In our industry, cement is an indispensable component to obtain a good connection between the water, sand and rock to form the basic concrete. Cement can be obtained by crushing and grinding marl or limestone, after which ‘clinker’ is obtained by heating. Deze klinker wordt na bemaling omgezet tot cement. Depending on the destination, this cement is then transported by ship, train or silo wagon. <\/p>\n
